Warp Manholes (or Manholes for short) are mysterious warp points that allow Kat to travel efficiently from one place to another place in Gravity Rush and Gravity Rush 2. It is only after Kat discovers one, which happens after she walks over one, that she can use it.

History[]

As Kat explores the city of Hekseville, she stares up at a giant monitor when she steps into an open manhole cover, sending her tumbling into the sewers in which she decides to make her home. She uses the sewer network as a means of quick transit as she gathers furniture for her new home. Form then on, Kat can use certain manholes to travel quickly around each district.

Function[]

The manholes are interconnected through the pipe junction, which itself runs through Hekseville and Jirga Para Lhao (somehow), allowing Kat to travel between the various towns. With her house being connected to the junction, she can use it to access other towns or vice versa. It is unclear exactly how exactly these pipe networks are connected considering the kind of world the series takes place in.

Locations[]

Gravity Rush[]

Main article: Manhole locations (Gravity Rush)

As previously mentioned, during Gravity Rush, a few specific and usable manholes are found in the four towns of Hekseville. There are numerous manholes scattered around Hekseville, however, only certain ones are actually usable. There are 13 manholes in total.

Gravity Rush 2[]

Main article: Manhole locations (Gravity Rush 2)

As previously mentioned, and during Gravity Rush 2, a couple of specific and usable manholes are found in Hekseville and most of the towns in Jirga Para Lhao. There are various manholes scattered around Hekseville and all of Jirga Para Lhao, however, only certain ones are actually usable. Some of Hekseville's manholes were either moved elsewhere, or removed entirely. There are 10 manholes in Jirga Para Lhao and 11 in Hekseville, for a total of 21. Fast travel becomes available once 2 manholes become active.
