Gravity Rush Wiki

Time Limit Battle I is a challenge mission that can be entered in Gravity Rush 2. It is the first challenge in the game that players can access.

It is only available once Kat arrives in Jirga Para Lhao, after completing Episode 4, A Dog Without a Collar.

Overview[]

In this challenge, you must score points by defeating Scarabs within the allotted time. Stronger enemies will yield more points upon defeat. You will start in the marketplace, head over the archway where the giant monitor is, onto a terrace, along the street to the right, then back towards the docks.

The lap ends with 2 Giacago type scarabs to fight.

Targets & Rewards[]

Medal Target Scores Rewards
Gold 1,400 200 gems, "Morning Flight" talisman
Silver 1,100 100 gems
Bronze 800 50 gems
Total 350 gems, 1 Talisman

Assuming you clear this challenge mission first, a bronze medal will unlock the New Challenger trophy.

Strategy[]

This challenge is pretty much equivalent to the first game's Auldnoir Time Attack; defeat as many enemies as you can in a small area. Don't let the low target scores deceive you though, since it can be more difficult than expected to score points quickly enough to hit the gold target. Once you spawn the Ares on the terrace, you can charge up a Piercing Throw to get rid of them quickly and move on to the next lost of enemies.

In addition to the 2 Giacago enemies that appear at the docks, there is a scarab that's related to the Kinoue on the upper level behind them, so take that out for 160 points. It is recommended that Kat's Special, Stasis, Fighting Skill, and Gravity Kick are upgraded to do this challenge comfortably. Lunar and Jupiter styles may come handy if you have them unlocked.
