A first person view of the Candle Zone.

The Candle Zone is a Rift Plane that you encounter during the Gravity Rush 2 campaign. Kat gains the new Lunar fighting style while she's here.

Gravity Rush 2

In order to release the prisoners still held by the Council, they strike a deal with both Kat and Raven to head into the Candle Zone to retrieve a document left by some Garrison soldiers who were send in to gather data on the rift plane. As the girls explore the Rift Plane, they come across a lone soldier who was severely injured when their ship crashed. He was the only survivor of the expedition. As Raven takes him back to Jirga Para Lhao to a hospital, Kat heads deeper in the rift and she discovers some strange artefacts that attach themselves to her limbs, and reduced her body mass. Kat uses her new power to head even deeper into the rift to find the expedition site. As Raven rejoins her, they stumble upon a small city, which they instantly recognise as Neu Hiraleon, the city that was also sucked through the Gravity Storm when its engine exploded. They find what the Council sent them in for, but are attacked by a Giant Nevi resembling a whale for sorts. Togehter, Kat and Raven dispatch all Nevi that surround Neu Hiraleon when all of a sudden, the Rift Plane starts collapsing. The girls make it out in one piece, but not without falling onto a group a Garrison soldiers.

Description

The Rift Plane is made up of floating rock formations lit by candles. It is very dark blue and the ground is littered with seashells, giving it the impression of being underwater despite floating in the air.

It is where Neu Hiraleon ended up after being sucked into a dimensional rift created by Dr. Brahman's tampering with the gravity engine. The Nevi living here eventually take control of it and turn the entire city into something resembling a living organism.

The Council of Jirga Para Lhao planned to mine a great deal of ore from here, and therefore kept the rift to this plane open by firing at it. However, they inadvertently allowed Neu Hiraleon to get through and obliterate the entire Aravash au Governa island.
