Episode 26: A Song Without Voice

This boss has regenerative powers. Attack its cores as often as you are able to, and switch to Jupiter mode when the boss starts unleashing gusts of wind. Don't concern yourself with actually trying to defeat The Darkness, as it will continuously regenerate health as you attack it. As the fight draws on, Lisa and Cecie will show up to assist. Now having complete control over her Durga Angel persona, Cecie will crystallize the beast, leaving its eye exposed to some swift Gravity Kicks. However, The Darkness will eventually start sapping your powers; first you'll lose your Special Attacks as well as Lunar and Jupiter styles, then Stasis, then Dusty is lost (and thus, all Gravity powers), and finally, your health is reduced to base level and one hit point remains. Afterwards a cutscene plays, The Darkness offering Kat a chance to forget the fight while allowing the destruction to continue. She refuses. Shortly after, the townsfolk will sing a reprise of "A Red Apple" and a resurrected Syd will command a swarm of Nevi to stall the beast long enough for Kat to regain her senses. Just slowly inch forwards towards the boss, and touch the DualShock 4 touch pad to finish it off once and for all.

With the Darkness vanquished, Kat and Syd will share one last goodbye scene together, and Kat leaves to create/become a singularity to seal the darkness away for good, setting up the epilogue.
